Sending and receiving a Verse
Contact support if you encounter a technical issue while:
- selecting the three songs for a Verse;
- sending a Verse;
- receiving or experiencing a Verse;
- revealing Meaning;
- adding Reflection;
- replying in Verse;
- accessing expected Archive history.
Apple Music
Apple Music is the first supported music provider for the Verse private beta.
Music search and playback use Apple Music and MusicKit. Playback availability depends on your Apple Music access, Apple's catalog availability, and applicable Apple requirements.
A Verse account does not include or sell Apple Music access.
If music search or playback is unavailable:
- confirm that Apple Music is available on your device and for your Apple account;
- retry the affected action;
- contact support@speakverse.app if the problem continues.
Do not send Apple account credentials to Verse support.
Notifications
Notifications are optional and are used for awareness only.
You can manage notification permission through iOS settings. Declining notifications does not prevent you from using the core Verse experience.
If notification behavior appears incorrect, contact:
Safety, reporting, and blocking
Verse includes in-app controls to:
- report a Connection;
- report a Verse;
- block another user.
Whenever possible, use the in-app reporting tools so Verse receives the information associated with the specific Connection or Verse you are reporting.
For additional safety-related help:
Verse support email is not an emergency service.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Account deletion and recovery
Account deletion should be initiated from inside the Verse app. Support email is not a substitute for the normal in-app deletion process.
When you request deletion:
- normal Verse access is deactivated immediately;
- a seven-day recovery period begins.
During those seven days, you may use the in-app recovery flow to cancel the deletion request and restore recoverable account and relationship state.
After the seven-day recovery period ends, recovery is no longer available. Verse then completes permanent deletion. Completion may require additional processing time after the recovery deadline.
When deletion has completed, Verse provides deletion-completion status through the supported deletion flow.
If you cannot access the in-app deletion or recovery flow, or need help understanding its status, contact:
